He is survived by: his sons, Christopher Franzen of Wilmington and Dennis Franzen (Michelle) of Ashland City, Tennessee; his grandchildren, Brianna, Cody, Ashlee, Dylan and Emily; and his sisters, Linda Kelley (Dick) of Maple Park, Lorie Swidergal (Tom) of Oak Forest, LuAnn Lauf (Patrick) of St. Charles and Lisa Irving (Matthew) of Crown Point. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
