It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Allan Russell of Wilmington, Illinois, born in Pontiac, Illinois, who passed away on March 18, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Clinton and Mildred Lucille Russell (Hack); his wife Peggy; his sons, Timothy Russell and James Nugent; and his siblings-in-law, James Nugent (Jean), Jack Nugent, Jerry Nugent (Jean), Donald Nugent (Patricia), Barbara Nugent and Kathleen Kahler (Bob).
He is survived by: his sisters, Anita, Doris and Judith; his sons, Stephen Russell (Michelle) of Coal City and Brian Russell (Natalie) of Wilmington; his daughter-in-law Courtney Harris of Texas; his grandchildren, Brandon, Kaylin Russell, Madilyn De Hoyos and Olivia Russell; and his niece Kathy Sabuco (Don).
Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Don's memory to Lightways Hospice of Joliet.
