With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Debbie Plese of Wilmington, Illinois, born in Kankakee, Illinois, who passed away on August 27, 2023 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Jacobsen and Doris Jacobsen (Jones); her parents-in-law, Jim and Donita Plese; and her sister-in-law Suzy Rhodes.
She is survived by: her husband Jim; her son Josh; her daughter-in-law Kimberly Plese of Bourbonnais; her grandchildren, Knox and Tenley; her brother Don Jacobsen (Heidi) of Arizona; and her cousins, Ray Jacobsen of Momence, Judy Yott of Manteno, Delaine Jacobsen of Arizona, Shelly and Brenda. She is also survived by numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews.
Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Debbie's memory to St. Rose Catholic Church or to Uplifted Care Hospice.
