She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Herman and Joan Herman (Griggs); and her sister Pamela Latham. She is survived by: her siblings, Susan Johnson (Roger) of Wilmington, John Herman (Stacy) of Coal City and Daniel Herman of Wilmington; her brother-in-law Richard Latham of Bourbonnais; her nieces and nephews, Rhonda Drake (Joey), Bradford Latham (Ingrid), Amanda Gerdez (Stephen), Brooke Crutchfield (Andrew), Justin Johnson (Laci), Leslie Herman and Mitchell Herman; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Noah, Nathan, Natalie Drake, George Burchfield, Logan Gerdez, Kai and Xavier Crutchfield.
