He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas Dominic and Caroline Mae Lombardi (Kohlstedt); his wife Donna Rae Roou; his parents-in-law, Stanley and Frances Roou; his son-in-law Charlie Probus, Jr.; and his sister Kay Murphy.
He is survived by: his children, Suzie Probus of Wilmington and Jim Lombardi (Jodi) of Wilmington; his grandchildren, Nicholas Lombardi, Ben Probus, Chloe Lombardi, Sam Probus, Matteo Lombardi and Joe Probus; and his brother-in-law Larry Roou of Wisconsin.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Baskerville Funeral Home (700 E Kahler Rd, Wilmington, IL 60481). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St Rose Catholic Church (604 S Kankakee St, Wilmington, IL 60481). A burial was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the Mount Olivet Cemetery (600 W Kahler Rd, Wilmington, IL 60481).
Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Bud's memory to Kuzma Care Cottage, 635 S. Main Street, Wilmington, IL 60481.
