It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Barbara Jean Tryner of Wilmington, Illinois, who passed away on November 13, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Weldon Overton and Rufina Octavia "Billie" Dyer (Yott); her husband Joseph J. Tryner; her children, Cheryl Schumacher and Richard Schumacher; her grandsons, Timothy Schumacher and Brian Schumacher; and her siblings, Beverly, Ronald, Donald and Richard.
She is survived by: her children, Vicki Witczak (Bruce) of Marseilles, John Tryner of Wilmington and Amy Potempa (Daniel) of Wilmington; her daughter-in-law Colleen Schumacher of Wilmington; her grandchildren, Sue Ellen Schumacher Welps (Eric) of St. Charles, Michael Schumacher (Elvina) of St. Charles, Lauren Witczak (Kurt Clausen) of Ottawa, Jacqueline Witczak (Matthew Greathouse) of Ottawa, Alex Potempa and Molly Potempa of Wilmington; her great grandchildren, Braylen Zajda, Joey Welps, Rya Schumacher and Connor Welps; her sister Donna Bolz (Skip) of Wilmington; and her sisters-in-law, Barbara Dyer, Karen Dyer and Marilyn Webb (Rex). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Island City Baptist Church (120 Vine St, Wilmington, IL 60481). A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the same location.
Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Barbara's memory to Kuzma Care Cottage, 635 S. Main Street, Wilmington, Illinois 60481.
