He was predeceased by: his parents, Arville Bunting and Loretta Bunting; his wife Carolin K. Bunting; and his siblings, Carolyn Kay Glaab and Jackie "Jack" Bunting.
He is survived by: his children, James Bunting (Janet) of Watseka, Maria Zobel (John) of Braidwood and Lori Moir (late Ron) of Coal City, IL; his grandchildren, Krista, Cody Zobel, Dean, Drew Moir, Allee Vanderwall (Alex), Emily and Justin Bunting; his siblings-in-law, Karen Bunting and Bob Glaab; and his close friend Joyce Wolcott of Morris. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in his name may be directed to the Immaculate Conception Church.
