He was predeceased by: his wife Sonia; and his brother Paul Doppelt (Arlene). He is survived by: his children, Debra Karplus, Richard Doppelt (Jill), Lori Winikoff (Stephen) and Steven Doppelt; his grandchildren, Eli (Andrea), Sari (Lindsey), Jaclyn (Ben), Jennifer (Alex), Jason, Justin (Lucy), Mitchell and Natalie; and his sister Judy Friedman (Abel). He is also survived by many extended family and friends.
