He was predeceased by: his parents, Irving Grossman and Sophia Grossman; and his brother Phillip Grossman (Teri). He is survived by: his wife Ruth; his grandchildren, Lauraly, Eric, Alison Herro (Carl) and Amanda; his great grandchild Clara Herro; and his family Jewish.

A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Weinstein & Piser Funeral Home (111 Skokie Blvd, Wilmette, IL 60091). A burial was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Memorial Park Cemetery (9900 Gross Point Rd, Skokie, IL 60076). A shiva was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
