He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas McNamara and Rita McNamara (Rigney); and his siblings, Thomas W. McNamara, Jr. and Michelle McNamara. He is survived by: his wife Suzanne McNamara (Muslin); his children, Elizabeth, Thomas, Colleen and Sean; and his sisters, Margo Chadwick (Gerry), Maureen Stratton (Brent), Kathleen Conroy (Kevin) and Mary Rita Skrine (Steve). He is also survived by seventeen nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Donnellan Family Funeral Services (10045 Skokie Blvd, Skokie, IL 60077). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Saint Francis Xavier Church (524 9th St, Wilmette, IL 60091). A burial will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the All Saints Catholic Cemetery (700 N River Rd, Des Plaines, IL 60016).
