With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard J. Carmel (Wilmette, Illinois), who passed away on April 8, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Elaine; his children, Suzanne Kenzer (David) and Mark Carmel; his grandchildren, Liam and Eliana; his sister Margie DuBrow (late Ira); and his sibling-in-law Lawry Kraus.
