He was predeceased by: his parents, Esther Switkin and Max Switkin; and his sister Judyth Talmi. He is survived by: his wife Linda Switkin; his daughters, Marni Nagel (Dan), Lisa Switkin (Elijah Saintonge) and Abby Riskin (Sarah); his grandchild Elia Nagel; and his daughters, Ari, Nava, Miriam Riskin, Jarah and Zev Saintonge.
