We are sad to announce that on February 17, 2023, at the age of 93, Maynard L. Kier (Wilmette, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Nathan Kier and Edna Kier; and also Judith Kier. He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey Kier (Margaret), Theresa Kier (Judy Austen Coker) and Cynthia Aronson (Mark); his grandsons, Nathaniel Kier, Samuel, Benjamin and Jack Aronson; his brother Philip Kier (CarolJean); and also Arlene Kier Goldman. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
