With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marie Freeman Fischer of Wilmette, Illinois, who passed away on May 14, 2022 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Augusta DeLorme Lezert Freeman and Edward Owen Freeman; her husband Stanton Pollard Fischer, MD; her daughter Elizabeth Stanton Fischer Wallace; and her cherished dachshund Bismarck.

She is survived by: her daughters, Rebecca Marie Fischer of Murfreesboro, Anne Fischer McCormack (Daniel) of Dallas, Suzanne Fischer Wendorf (Thomas) of San Antonio and Marie Fischer Maurice (Robert) of Cypress; and her caregivers, Jamie, Lisa, Ipon, Zoila and Marty. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
