He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Shirley; his children, Lynn Komessar (Richard Wolk) and Jay Bernfeld (Julie); his grandchildren, Michael Komessar (Renee Callahan), Rachel Singer (Brian), Brian Bernfeld and Allie Komessar; and his great grandchildren, Madeline, Sydney, Beckett, Ivy, Layla, Sebastian and Miles.
