It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karl Peter Knobel (Wilmette, Illinois), born in Evanston, Illinois, who passed away on January 13, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his children, Mark Knobel and Juliane Ruff; his brother Paul Knobel (Cathie); his grandchildren, Samantha Whitehead, Nicole Frankel (Andy), Brandon Whitehead, Emily Knobel and LCpl Peter Knobel; and his great grandchild Summer Frankel. He is also survived by his two Children and his five Grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to St. John's Lutheran Church garden sanctuary in his honor.
