He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel James Egan and Jane Kane. He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Timi"; his brothers, James (Mary Ann) and Dennis (Barbara); and his children, Erin, Christopher (Colby) and Matthew (Jennifer).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Saints Joseph and Francis Xavier Parish (Saint Francis Xavier Church) (912 Linden Ave, Wilmette, IL 60091). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks those who wish to express sympathy to consider donating to the Misericordia Heart of Mercy Home in Chicago.
