He was predeceased by: his wife Myrna L. Cohn; his parents, Maurice Cohn and Bess Cohn of Waterloo, Iowa.; and his siblings, Cyma Rifka Heffter (Jerome) and Richard Cohn.
He is survived by: his children, Michelle Fishman (Steven), Adam Cohn (Jill Woehrmann), Sharon Cohn (late Stuart Johnson) and Laura Cohn (Bill Dingfelder); his grandchildren, Jordyn Kerstein (Steven), Alexa Fishman, Daniel Cohn, Levon Cohn and Josie Cohn; and his brother Norman Cohn (Suzanne).
