He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Carol Simpson Stern; his son Jeff McDonald (Maria Kjellberg); his brother Bernard (Audrey); his siblings-in-law, Barbara Flynn Waller (Stan) and Rupert Simpson (Laura Wenke); his nieces, Mary Kathleen Flynn, Krista Flynn Burgeson (Brian) and Kristie Stein (Curt); and his parents, Esther Stern and Max Stern.
