She was predeceased by: her husband Eugene Berkman; her parents, Louis Margoles and Sarah Margoles; her sister Phyllis Fershtman; and her husband Al Weiner.

She is survived by: her children, Harvey, Joel and Traci Smason (Steven); and her grandchildren, Jordan Smason (Michael Schroeder) and Eric Smason.
