He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Nancy R. Kovitz; his children, Samuel Kovitz (Kirsten Laurin-Kovitz) and Kathryn Kovitz Arnold (Patrick J. Arnold Jr.); his grandchildren, Eliot Kovitz (Jacob Simeral), Kyle Kovitz, Alexandra Arnold (Michael Murphy) and Julianne Arnold; and his siblings, Barbara Kaminsky (late Joel) and Sidney Kovitz.
