“Violet was a fellow resident of the Burr Ridge community. Last year, volunteers wrapped Xmas gifts for the Darien Lions Club, and Violet was one us. She spent two hours wrapping gifts with a smile on her face and love in her heart. She was an inspiration to all of us to live out that 'age gracefully' adage. There is a saying that people never really die if they are remembered. I'll always remember Violet!”
