It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John E Bliss of Willow Springs, Illinois, born in Melrose Park, Illinois, who passed away on June 4, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his daughter Sheri Bliss Craven; his parents, Edward Bliss and Harriet Bliss McKee; and his brother Raymond Bliss. He is survived by: his wife Rosemary Bliss; his children, Eric Bliss (Stephanie) and Diana Bliss; his stepdaughter Deborah Gries; his grandchildren, Kevin, Dustin Craven, Jonathan, Hayley Bettenhausen and Hannah Gries; his sisters, Virginia Nelson and Linda Evola (Vince); and his nieces and nephews, Peter (Kippy), David (Gail), Tom Nelson (Colleen), Amanda MacCormack (Chad), Sarah Stanizrowski (Tom) and Kelly Evola.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in John's name can be given to the Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Chicago, IL 60601.
