Though Eugene may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rexil Hargis and Zola Hargis (Blaco); his wife Doris June Hargis; and his brother Jerry Don Hargis. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorial donations be made to the Oblong Antique Tractor and Engine Club or to the Chauncey Church of God.
