She was predeceased by: her parents, Sherman Stout and Pansy Stout (Albert); and her siblings, Ivan, Melvin, George, Wilber, Dean, Opal Kirkland and Vera Stout.
She is survived by: her husband Eugene "Gene" Hargis of Willow Hill, IL.; her sister Carolyn; and her brother-in-law Donald Polk. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of a contribution to either the Mound Cemetery Fund, Oblong Antique Tractor and Engine Association or the Chauncey Church of God.
