He was predeceased by: his parents, William A. Spencer and Oletha A. Spencer (Squires); his wife Janet L. Miars; his grandson Ed Spencer; and his sister Pat Carlson.
He is survived by: his children, Debbie Machin (Bill) of Williamsfield, Kirt Spencer of Galesburg, Becky Miller of Williamsfield and Bill Spencer, Jr. of Woodhull; and his siblings, Jim Spencer of Peoria, Judith Rhoades of Novelty and Stanley Spencer of Newark, Missouri. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
