He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ann Ross of Williamsfield; his children, James Robert Ross of Williamsfield, Susan LaFollette (Rick) of Williamsfield, Steve Ross (Jeanna) of Dunlap, Illinois and Daphne DeBrito (Bertrand); his grandchildren, Theo, Iana of Paris, France, Kristen LaFollette of Rock Island, Logan LaFollette (Emily) of Chicago, Emma Ross and Isabelle Ross of Dunlap; his brother Ed Ross (Marge) of McMinnville, Tennessee.; and also Violet.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to the ARC of the Quad Cities.
