It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha J. Hicks of White Heath, Illinois, born in Monticello, Illinois, who passed away on January 10, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Byron'Hirsch' Hirschman and Lucille Hirschman (Perry); and her sisters, Sue Manuel and Judy Gulliford. She is survived by: her husband Dale Hicks of White Heath; her children, Lorrie Wilson (Jeff) of Mansfield, Todd Hicks (Dawn) of Paxton and Craig Hicks (Shannon) of Monticello; her grandchildren, Jessica Wilson, Brooke Hicks, Cory Hicks, Derek Hicks and Macey Hicks; and her great grandchildren, Bryson and Hendrix.
Memorials may be made to the Piatt County Nursing Home Alzheimer's Unit or the Piatt County Animal Shelter.
