He was predeceased by : his parents, Virgil Grizzle and Hazel Whitlock Grizzle; and his brothers, Stanley and James Grizzle. He is survived by : his wife Mary Sherwood; his children, Tonya Lanham (Bo) of Virginia and Robert Grizzle of Michigan; and his grandchildren, Corintha Ann Grizzle, Cody Lanham, Kevin Lanham, Samantha Arnott and Katlyn Pruiett.

Memorials may be made to the North Greene Food Pantry.
