He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie and Viola Collins; his wife Wilma Duncan; and his siblings, Archie Collins, Mildred Hart and Maybelle Collins.
He is survived by: his daughter Jean Bickmeier (Gary); his grandsons, Daniel Benner (Jeanette) and Bill Bickmeier (Naemi); his great grandchildren, Bradley, Joey and Anna Benner; and his great great grandchild Savanah.
