He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold R. Smith and Ella F. McMillen Smith; his wife Betty Eileen Rabe; and his brothers, John, Donald, Thomas and Clarence Smith.
He is survived by: his children, Becky Gilmore (Ron) of White Hall, Patty Westnedge (Duane) of White Hall and Chris Smith (Theresa) of White Hall; his grandchildren, Derrick Gilmore (Amber), Joshua Gilmore (Nicole), Brett Westnedge (Melissa), Clancy Maher (Cory), Luke Westnedge, Carrissa Smith, Kaitlyn Smith and Tori Smith; his great grandchildren, Madilyn Dawdy (Derek), Taylor, Landon, Stella, Shelby Gilmore, Oaklynn Parson, Daniel, Declan Maher and Hazel Westnedge; and his siblings, Ronald of White Hall, William Smith (Mary) of White Hall, Evelyn Smith (Keith) of Scottville, Margaret Alexander of White Hall, Linda Sturgeon (Kenny) of White Hall and Lora Dilks of White Hall. He is also survived by his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
