He is survived by: his parents, Joseph Oscar and Mildred Ruyle (Smith); his spouse Shirley Strowmatt; his children, LaDonna Ostendorph of Alton, Jami Headrick (Andy) of Lake St, Mary Kay Dunham (Tim) of Godfrey, Veronica Sue Farace (Ed) of Spanish Lake, MO, Michael Ruyle (Angel) of Carrolton and Greg Ruyle (Kelly) of Missouri; his grandchildren, Ian Ruyle (Callie), Dallas Ruyle, Delaney Ruyle, Sheridan Ruyle, Kelsie Ostendorph, Aaron Holmes (Katie), James Ervin (Jen), Jennifer Byrd (Ray), Tim Dunham, Megan Hagerty, Kelly McNamee (Tim) and Brian Headrick; and his sister Margie Wells (Tony) of Alton.
