With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doug Cox (White Hall, Illinois), born in Hillview, Illinois, who passed away on February 24, 2018 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Wilbur and Bessie Laura Willis Cox; and his brother David N. Cox. He is survived by: his spouse Sandy Dirksmeyer Lawson; his stepson Gary "Chuck" Lawson of Virginia; his grandchildren, Amber Luna, Katrina Lawson, Curtis Tillery and Corey Tillery; and his siblings, Larry Cox (Ginger) of Phoenix, AZ, Roger Cox (Sue) of Hillview, Ralph Cox (Sandy) of Tennessee, Stanley Ray Cox of Thailand, Joyce Ann Cox and Karol Benton (Rodney). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
