He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Lyman and Etta Greenberg Lyman; his siblings, Harold Lyman and Shirley Schuman; his niece Brenda Shores; and his sister-in-law Norma Lyman.
He is survived by: his stepsons, Todd Engel (Judy) of Milwaukee, WI and Eric Engel of St. Louis, MO; his stepgranddaughter Courtney Whitacre (Joe) of St. Louis; his niece Rebecca Cox (Jim Wells) of White Hall; his nephew Stephen Schuman of Godfrey; his great-niece Risha Cox; his great-nephew Joseph Schuman; his brother-in-law Bob Schuman; and also Illyania Rocha.
