He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parent Russell Castleberry; his daughters, Heidi Newingham of Cottage Hills, Cora Newton (Bob) of Hillview and Shelli Abbott of Palmyra; his stepson Todd Carriger of Roodhouse; his grandchildren, Sean Castleberry, Jacob Hendy, Matthew Kisselbach, Michael Castleberry, Joshua Waltrip, Ryan Newton, Gabrielle Newton, Abby Starkey, Logan Starkey, Bethany Gunawan (Yohanes), Kyle Foiles, Jacob Foiles, Kaitlyn Folies, Christopher Dukett (Sonya), Kerry Roberts (Allie), Wyatt Newton, Savannah Newton, Tyler Carriger (Kayleigh), Hunter Carriger and Laura Carriger; his great grandchildren, Spencer Castleberry, Riley Castleberry, Waylon Foiles, Scarlett Story, Ophelia Spada, Mason Hendy, Gabriel Hendy, Maddilyn Hendy, Hayden Newton, Bailee Newton, Kolten Roberts, Keri Roberts, Bryce Kisselbach, Ellie Kisselbach and Ari Gunawan; his siblings, Donald Castleberry of Pleasant Hill, Kay Brooks of White Hall, Janet Meredith of White Hall and Debbie Williams (J. T.) of White Hall; his grandson Quintin Newton; and his siblings, Ronald Castleberry, Patricia Goode and Catherine Castleberry. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Airsman - Hires Funeral Home - White Hall (234 N Main St, White Hall, IL 62092). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
