He is survived by: his children, Erin and Matt Ammer; his siblings, Martin Ammer (Marie), Jerry Ammer (James), Mark Ammer (Carolyn), Eileen Poole (Kenneth) and Chris Wilk; his adoptive daughter Jennifer Gattis; and his children, Penny, Rudy and Maggie.
