It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph F. Kraus Jr. of Wheeling, Illinois, who passed away on September 8, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Joseph may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Joseph touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that a donation be made to the American Cancer Society or to Alden Long Grove.
