It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dolores M. Compton (Wheeling, Illinois), born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on January 5, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Richard A. Compton Sr. Loving; her daughter Dolores Miles (Rodger); her parents, Ernest Truesdale and Anna Truesdale; and her siblings, William, Ernest, Joseph, George Truesdale and Anna Klahn.
She is survived by: her children, Richard (Mary), James (Liz), Michael (Katie), Therese (Tim), John (Dawn), Mary Beth (Dave) and Thomas (Meg); and her siblings, Marian McGrane (William) and Arthur.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Addolorata Villa Chapel (555 McHenry Rd, Wheeling, IL 60090). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
