She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Ray and Harriet Mirium Wigall (Hovey); her spouse Jackie Douglas "Jack" Ragsdale; her children-in-law, Rick Groves and Dana Ragsdale; her great grandchildren, Stormy Joliff and Dylan Lewis; and her siblings, Mildred Clark, Dorothy Beam, Don, Gene and Charles Wigall.
She is survived by: her children, Diana Groves of Newton, Illinois, Doug Ragsdale of Newton, Illinois and Jackie Ohnesorge (Shawn) of Dieterich, Illinois.; and her grandchildren, Daina Lewis (Brent), Amanda Fritcher (Kenny), Bryan Groves, Cayce Groves, Erica "Chuck" Groves, Mikka Kellerman (Danny), Ariel Gasaway (Justin), Carly Ohnesorge and Ty Ohnesorge.
In loving memory of Mary Elyn, memorials may be made to the Fairview Christian Church or St Jude's Childrens Hospital.
