He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Dale "Bugs" and Carla Ragsdale (Kibler); his children-in-law, Rick Groves and Dana Ragsdale; his sisters, Elizabeth Moshenrose and Helen Heaton; his great grandchildren, Stormy Joliff and Dylan Lewis; his niece Mary Jane Mattingly; and his nephew Charlie Moshenrose.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Elyn Ragsdale of Wheeler, Illinois; his children, Diana Groves of Newton, Illinois, Doug Ragsdale of Newton and Jackie Ohnesorge (Shawn) of Dieterich, Illinois.; and his grandchildren, Daina Lewis (Brent), Amanda Fritcher (Kenny), Bryan Groves (Courtney Eaton), Cayce Groves, Erica "Chuck" Groves, Mikka Kellerman (Danny), Ariel Gasaway (Justin), Carly Ohnesorge and Ty Ohnesorge.
In loving memory of Jack, memorials may be made to the Fairview Christian Church or Oblong Children's Home.
