He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley and Dorothy; his brothers, Billy Petticrew and Jim Petticrew; his sister-in-law Dolores Petticrew; and his great grandchild Alexis.
He is survived by: his wife Dixie Crawford; his children, Wesley Petticrew (Tainalg) of Pahrump and Kathy Thomas of Wheeler, Illinois.; and his grandchildren, Austin Schumacher, Dallas Schumacher, Blake Thomas, Connor Thomas, Eric Petticrew and Dustin Petticrew.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Meyer Funeral Home (307 E Center St, Dieterich, IL 62424). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Prairie View Cemetery (2915 W Old Church Rd, Champaign, IL 61822).
