It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Dale Bower (Wheeler, Illinois), who passed away on April 29, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Merrit Bower and Ethel Bower (Whitehurst); his siblings, Floyd Bower, Roe Bower, Kenny Bower, Dorothy Toland, Lavern Toland, Ruby Tabb and June Kidwell; and his granddaughter Kim Schrenker.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Bower of Wheeler; and his children, Ron Bower (Kathy) of Newton, Illinois, Gloria Lamb of Florence, Kentucky and Bob Bower (Dee) of Wheeler.
In loving memory of Gerald, memorials may be made to the dedicated staff of Newton Care Center and mailed to the family, 4363 East 1200th Avenue, Wheeler, Illinois 62479.
