She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Bridges and Elizabeth Bridges (Nix); her husband Harold Shamhart; and her siblings, Paul Nix, Irmalyn Wilson and Jim Bridges.
She is survived by: her children, John Shamhart of Wheeler, Illinois, Sharon Bergbower (Norman) of Newton, Illinois, Tom Shamhart (Becky) of Wheeler and Barbara Schuch (Joe) of Newton; and her grandchildren, Daniel Shamhart (Hope), Tony Bergbower, Bobbi Shamhart, Shelah Bergbower (Chadd Osborne), Kevin Shamhart (Amanda), Julee Shamhart (Chris Murphy), Brian Shamhart (Jamie), Kimberly Shamhart (Aaron Mason), Todd Bergbower (Erin Goldstein), Vince Shamhart (Katelyn), Craig Shamhart (Beth), Roxanne Myer, Amber Jones (Michael), Krystal Schuch and Blayke Schuch. She is also survived by 20 Great Grandchildren.
