He was predeceased by: his parents, William A. Reed and Frances Reed; his wife Betty; and his brothers, Tom (Lucille), Alfred and Reuben (Jo Jo).
He is survived by: his children, Peggy Lyons (Tom) of Carol Stream, Bill Reed (Rachel) of Rainbow City, AL and Don Reed (Alex) of Crystal Lake; his grandchildren, Claire (Rick), Bess, Troy, Kyle (Erica), Taylor and Christian; and his great grandchildren, Harrison, Bo, Lily, Wren, Sienna and Kelly. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
