He was predeceased by: his parents, Rita S. Daniels and Ralph V. Daniels; his sister JoLynn; and his sisters-in-law, Leslie Bell and Janet Shellworth.
He is survived by: his son Richard Vere Daniels; his wife Linda of Naperville; his children, Andrea Herring (Daniel), Erin Nobles (Dennis) and Rebecca Ulaszek (Brian) of Westminster, Colorado.; his grandchildren, Kinsley, Ashlyn Nobles, Emma and Ethan Herring; and his sisters, Susan Spencer and Janna Haynie (Gary). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
