Schoerger (Wheaton, Illinois), born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on November 28, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Agnes Gillette and John Dudley Gillette; her daughters, Jill Walsh (James), Susan Silsby (David) and Judith Vallejo; her grandchildren, Brian Walsh (Alison), Patricia Walsh, Erin Szklarski (Tomas), Michael Silsby (Jennifer), Gregory Silsby (Aryn) and Sara Vallejo (Brian Cable); and her great grandchildren, Matthew Walsh, Rose Walsh, Ella Szklarski, Brayden Szklarski, Jacob Kotlarz, Evan Silsby, Lucas Silsby, Matthew Silsby, Chelsea Silsby, Barrett Swanson, Piercy and Temperance Silsby. She was also cherished by many family members, friends, and relatives.

Rather than retiring, Lorraine worked as a nursing tutor at Triton College until the age of 92 and only stopped when the campus was closed due to the COVID pandemic.
