It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Judson Carl Sodergren of Wheaton, Illinois, who passed away on June 23, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Sodergren and Eunice Sodergren; and his sister Marilyn Romaneski. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Sodergren; his daughters, Andrea Vahl and Julie Stevens (Shawn); his grandchildren, Devin Vahl, Henry Vahl, Owen Stevens and Avery Stevens; and his sister Marcia Ford. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

There are many fond memories of my growing up with "Jud" as he was known in the days when his father was pastor at First Immanuel Lutheran Church in Portland, OR. These fun times continued occasionally even though we wound up far apart in Illinois and Washington. His wonderful sense of humor and infectious laughter will be sorely missed.
