It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joseph C. Schoenenberger of Wheaton, Illinois, who passed away on February 27, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph C. Schoenenberger and Veronica; his children, Laura Irick (Jeff) and Christian R. Schoenenberger; his grandchildren, Joseph Doan (Emily), Sarah Staley (Steven), Elias Irick (Anna) and Madison Schoenenberger; his great grandchildren, Charlie Whipple, Gavin Doan and Deliah Stanley; and his brother Peter Schoenenberger (Claire). He was also cherished by many friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home (44 S Mill St, Naperville, IL 60540). The military honors will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery (20953 W Hoff Rd, Elwood, IL 60421).
