He was predeceased by: his parents, William Rustemeyer and Elizabeth Rustemeyer; his wife Sharla; his brothers, William and George Rustemeyer; and his sister-in-law Berenice Rustemeyer.

He is survived by: his children, Mark Rustemeyer (Stephanie), Lisa Rustemeyer and Jeff Rustemeyer (Christy); his grandchildren, Emily (Tyler), Kyle, Daniel (Claire), Kaitlyn (Kevin), Colin, Meghan and Aidan; his great grandchild Graham; and his siblings-in-law, Alan Gambill (Joetta) and Alice Rustemeyer. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
