He is survived by: his wife Josie Gavurnik; his children, Justine Bryers (Jim) and John R. Gavurnik Jr. (Ann LeCroy); his grandchildren, Jaclyn, Jimmy Bryers, John R. III and Danny Gavurnik; and his siblings-in-law, Ginny, Russell Zientara, Walter, Yolanda Kocemba and Helen Kocemba.
